Anchor Club
The goals of Anchor club are to give students leadership opportunities, experience in working together to meet the needs of their school community, to advance the goals of Pilot International and its service focus of brain-related disorders.

Beta Club
The National Beta Club promotes character, develops leadership skills, encourages service involvement, recognizes achievement, and provides technological advantages. Our motto is "Let us lead by serving others." Qualifications include worthy character, good mentality, creditable achievement, and commendable attitude. The Beta Club sponsor is Mrs. Carla Aycock. (Rm. 546)
Drama Club
The Drama Club is a member of the National Thespian Society and the Education Theatre Association, which work to promote and strengthen theatre arts programs in the education system. Drama Club meets on a bi-weekly basis in room 542.
FBLA
Future Business Leaders of America is the premier organization for students preparing for careers in business. FBLA provides innovative leadership and career development programs that bring business and education together in a positive working relationship to achieve results. The advisors are Suzanne Seitz and Kim Walther.
FCA - FCS
The purpose of FCA-FCS is to present to students, athletes, coaches and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving him in their relationships and community. We welcome all students.
FCCLA
Family Career and Community Leaders of America is an organization that emphasizes the importance of the family, personal development and leadership skills, career exploration and community involvement. FCCLA is active on the county, district, state and national levels.

Future Educators of America
Students who are interested in becoming teachers. Meeting times are announced in the Bulletin. Sponsor is Mrs. Baron.
Future Farmers of America
FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
French Club
French Club welcomes any student who has an interest in French cluture and language. Activities include holiday parties, corresponding with pen pals in French-speaking countries and sampling French pastries. Interested students should see Miss Kalmbacher.
High-Q
The Palatka High-Q team is an academics-oriented club that encourages able students to compete with other like-minded students in the academic fields.
High-Q has both JV and varsity teams.
Dues are $5. Sponsor is Mr. Motl.
HOSA
Health Occupations Students of America is a national vocational student organization for students who have been enrolled or who are currently enrolled in a health science education class. HOSA promotes career opportunities in the health care industry and enhances the delivery of quality health care to all people.
Interact
Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people. Interact benefits its members by developing initative, leadership skills and lasting friendships. Interact benefits its community by several service projects. We welcome all students.
JROTC
JROTC is a fun and active high school program. It is an elective which can also count towards your PE or life skills graduation requirement. Cadets in JROTC are not obligated to join the military after graduating from high school.
JROTC is devoted to you--your growth-- as a student and as an individual.
Key Club
Key Club is a service organization sponsored by the Azalea City Kiwanis Club of Palatka. Key Club's objective is the development of initiative, leadership ability and good citizenship practices. New members are welcomed year round and dues are $12. Club meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month in the Panther Den. Each member is required to commit to five hours of community service per month.

National Honor Society
The purpose of National Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and develop character in students in secondary schools.
Students must be in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade with a 3.5 weighted GPA.
Must have displayed leadership qualities, community service, and high moral character. Requirements include: tutoring, attendance, service projects, and fundraisers.
SADD
Students Against Destructive Decisions SADD is a national organization. It's mission is to provide students with the best prevention and intervention tools possible to deal with the issues of underage drinking, drunk driving, drug use and other destructive decisions. Monthly meetings are held and all students are invited to participate in membership and activities.
Student Council
Student council is an organization that provides a forum for student expression, promotes school spirit, improves the appearance of PHS, and provides community service. Membership is restricted to the Student Council Executive Officers, class vice presidents, and class representatives. School clubs and organizations are also represented at each monthly meeting.
Yearbook
The purpose of Yearbook is to provide students with a record of the events of the school year. Journalism I, II and III (Yearbook) is a class one must apply for in March when applications are offered. Students with excellent writing skills, attendance and no discipline record are considered. Teacher recommendations and interviews are used to make the final selections.
Youth Alive
The purpose for Youth Alive is to provide an opportunity for Christian students to meet on campus for weekly Bible study, prayer and sharing; to assist the school in developing the whole person: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Youth Alive is open to all students and meetings are held each Wed. at 2:15 pm in the Panther Den.
